A live review from The Trades Club by Maddie Sanderson

Thank you to Maddie for sending us her review! Firstly can we just say that last Saturday was epic. It was one of those moments in your career when life just make sense and comes together. Yes the last year and a half has been challenging and upsetting, not being able to meet and be with audiences has been devastating but last Saturday we got to play in our favourite venue for a sell out crowd who were all wonderful as was The Trades Club. It was truly a celebration as we released and shared the video for our new single 'The Day I was Born'
In the audience was a shining star, called Maddie Sanderson. She wrote these words the day after and we just had to share them with all of you because they made us all tear up with joy. Thank you Maddie you have a great future ahead of you as a writer and anything else you decide to be. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts..
Maddie's Review
Last night I went to see Birds and Beasts. Now, as I am writing this in the afternoon of the next day, I am still absolutely stunned, blown-away and all the other positive adjectives imaginable!
Before the performance began, I had no clue what to expect, and (I am a little ashamed to admit) quite unsure, as I often struggle to keep my attention on unknown artists. However, I certainly did not have that problem there! Nobody knows how to make a first impression like these guys — the feeling I got watching them was like watching an intensely enjoyable film at the cinema, they had that many things going on.
And the songs themselves: all sorts going on there! From fighting hippos to sharks to fungi! Not to mention that the people themselves are the best!
In conclusion, last night shall stay on my mind for a very, very long time.
